Run-flat Tire

A run-flat tire is a pneumatic  tire that is designed to resist the effects of deflation when punctured, to enable the vehicle to continue to be driven at reduced speeds (up to 90 km/h (55 mph), and for limited distances of up to 160 km (100 mi ), or even320 km (200 mi) depending on the type of tire. Westlake introduces runflat tires which run safely with no air for a limited range at a limited speed. These tires typically feature strong, load-supporting sidewalls.
